Lucien, you drive us absolutely wild with these experiments of yours in understatement. But here there's an interchangeability in your terms which allows them all to flee the superlative at once -- it's a picture of good masculine creativity, you could say, or a masculinely creative picture of goodness -- with equal irreproachability. Never mind that it's one of the most incendiary tableaux of divine munificence ever to be splashed across the retina in rut for redeeming fuck; no, never go that far. But perhaps a middle ground of mild commitment's not amiss, when the entire damn canvas sucks the air out of your kiss?
