I think this guy's an authentic cultural figure. I know, I know, we respect the character of his family life, but also there's no trace of hypocrasy in his apostasy for our sake. Tops love this guy, bottoms welcome him particularly as a hero, and I think mommies & daddies everywhere are, deeeeep down, disarmed by his buoyant darlingness. What do they call it in music categories -- fusion, crossover? His C+W and his folk and his rock and his many stages of Alt in between are colloids of a spirited and enchanting solution.
